Oct 15, 2020 - We are excited that the downtown has merchants adopting the arts as a way of giving live to the spaces. The Riverside Taphouse is known for fine music, books on tap, make and take art as well as other creative and family/community base activities, not to mention craft beers, ciders, and pops. This donation is part of the nonprofit’s theme this year of gratitude. “Part of our theme this year is gratitude with the pandemic going on,” he explained. “This was our way of picking a segment of the community that affects so many people.”



Arts Builds Communities (ABC) Grant


August 19, 2020 - First Tennessee Development District and the Tennessee Arts Commission approved matching grant assistance to the Elizalliance for Gratitude Mosaic Murals project. This project will ask the community to submit electronic photos in a square format of something they are grateful for in their world. These will be assembled into a mosaic for public viewing. The project scope included secondary school students making mural panels for display downtown elizabethton.
